Our story
FORMERLY
THE CERAMIC
TILE LIBRARY.
If you've lived around St. Louis a while, you probably know the name The Ceramic Tile Library. Its founder, David Kincaid, spent a career setting the standard for tile and stone work in this area — and he became a mentor to Michael "Mike" Marcus, our current owner.
Mike learned the craft under David, and in time took over that very same business. Today it operates as MC Flooring & Tile — same tile library, same standard of craftsmanship, same showroom mindset, with 75 years of combined experience behind it.
What changed is how much more we do. Beyond the tile, marble and stone work we're still best known for, we've grown into a full flooring showroom and multi-trade crew: hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, carpet, sanding & refinishing, gym mat flooring, and complete kitchen and bathroom remodels — products and installation, all under one roof.
