What we do
Waterproof floors
that look like wood.
Luxury vinyl plank, or LVP, is fully waterproof, stands up to pets, kids and dropped pans, and looks like real wood. For basements, laundry rooms, mudrooms and most kitchens, it's the floor we recommend.
We sell LVP in our showroom and install it ourselves, so one team owns both the product and the install. The floor underneath gets leveled first, because LVP shows dips and bumps. Still deciding? Read our LVP vs hardwood guide.
Where LVP works best
- Basements and lower levels
- Kitchens and laundry rooms
- Mudrooms and entries
- Rentals and busy family homes
- Light-commercial spaces

FAQ
LVP
questions.
Is LVP really waterproof?
Yes. LVP is fully waterproof, which is why we recommend it for basements, laundry rooms, mudrooms and most kitchens.
LVP or hardwood: which is better?
It depends on the room. LVP is the smarter pick for wet areas and basements. Real hardwood usually wins on main living levels and at resale.
Can LVP go over my existing floor?
Sometimes. It depends on what's there now and how flat it is. We'll check at the free in-home estimate and tell you whether it can stay or needs to come up.
Can LVP be refinished like hardwood?
No. LVP can't be sanded or refinished. Once the wear layer is worn through, the planks are replaced. Hardwood can be sanded and refinished multiple times.
